He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Jean Chalk; and his son James Donald Chalk. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Bertram (John) and Douglas Chalk (Brigid); his grandchildren, Jennifer Michels (John), Tammy Bertram, Thorne Chalk (Laura) and Rane Chalk; his great grandchildren, Alicia Smith (Nick), Erin Michels, Leighton Michels, Seth Michels and Harding Chalk; and also Karen Siegmann (Anthony). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
