He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Dornette; his grandchildren, Zack and Payton Beard; his siblings, Jeff Dornette (Joan) and Ann Ammann (Jake); and his uncle Ross Smith (Joyce).

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be limited to family on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Spring Grove Funeral Home.
