He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Stewart; his stepmother Mary Alice Stewart (Staffey); and his siblings, Brian Stewart, Shirley Seevers, Clarency Stewart, Frankie Stewart and Myrna Stewart.

He is survived by: his wife Becky Stewart; his children, Robert Bailey (Tequilla), Samuel Stewart Jr. (Devan) and Mary Clark (Steve); his grandchildren, Taylor Woods (Deseray), Dakota Woods (Karrington), Tristen Stewart (Lakiyn), Marie Kennedy (Charlie), Jordan Stewart, Maurice Stewart, Samuel Stewart III, Tyson, Destany, John Clark (Tiffany), Robert Bailey Jr., Sappire Bailey, Angel Bailey, Conner Bailey and Dominic; his great grandchildren, Paisley and Charlie Kennedy; and his siblings, Joy Harper, Jerry Stewart, Vickie Saxton, Susan Stewart, Rodney Stewart (Brenda), Donnie Stewart and Janet Alexander. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
