He is survived by: his wife Dacia Lay; his son Jole Lay; his mother Jackie Shirer; his sisters, Misti Shirer (Eric) and Kisha Lottes (Kevin); his nieces and nephews, Robbie, Paiton (Jack) and Clay; his great-nieces, Bella and Dallas; his great-nephew Walker; his great-aunt Alice "Oop" Shirer; his mother-in-law Marcia Rhodes; his brothers-in-law, Matthew Rhodes and Hunter Rhodes; and his pets, Bubba, Buckey and Batty.
