He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Lee and Ruth A. Bressler (Shaffer); and his sons, Gerald and Mark Bressler. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Bressler (Gebhart); his children, David Bressler (Lisa), Jodi Pringle of State College, PA and Nicole Earl; and his siblings, Allan Bressler, Rodger Bressler, Donnie Bressler, Joan Johnson of Oregon, Elaine Russell and Kathy Finkleston (Mark).
