He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elbert Chaffin and Mary Jane Rodocker Chaffin. He is survived by: his sons, Ed Chaffin (Sonya), Brian Chaffin and Kevin Chaffin (Mary); his grandchildren, Allison Yerian (Cody), Kylee Minosky (Andrew), Ashtyn Chaffin, Justin Chaffin and Bailey Chaffin (Alex Brokaw); his great grandchildren, Kacen, Kasidee, Tucker Yerian and Ila Brokaw; and his sisters, Susan Roberts (John) and Mary Ann Whitlinger (Bob).
