He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Monson and Mary Monson (Baker); his wife Loretta Monson (Drenning); and his daughter-in-law Evelyn L. Monson (McCarthy). He is survived by: his sons, Charles "Chaz" Monson and Bob Monson (Sarah). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
In light of the restrictions of the Coronavirus, a private service will be held by the immediate family in Arlington Field of Honor Burial Park, Canal Winchester.
