He was predeceased by: his parents, James Waltz and Florence Waltz; his wife Nellie Waltz; his son Jeffrey Waltz; his brothers-in-law, Loren McGregor and Gilbert Crock; his niece Annette Crock; and his nephew Daniel McGregor.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Jeannie Kieffer; his son Gregory Waltz (Laura); his grandchildren, Colt Waltz, Jordan Waltz (Greg Wheeler) and Jillian Waltz; his sisters, Mary Lou McGregor, Jeanette Crock and Nancy Fritinger (Jim); and his partner's children, Erika Rudzik (Joe), Chad Kieffer (Brooke) and Bill.
