It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William R. Baker (Rootstown, Ohio), born in Wise, Virginia, who passed away on December 31, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Schuyler Baker and Sarah Baker (Skeen); his wife Lakie Ramey Baker; and his siblings, Arlie, Herbert, Milford, Virgil, Clarence, Jimmy, Frank, Odith Bevins and Katherine Covey.
He is survived by: his daughter Janice Baker; and his sisters-in-law, Leeota Baker and Virginia Baker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In Honor of Richard and in lieu of flowers, donations to help with final expenses would be appreciated and can be made to the family.
