He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Gambaccini); his children, Diane Johnson (Ray), Stephen, Jr. Francis (Angela), Karen Maffei, Marianne Kitakis, Joseph Francis (Melissa), Matthew Francis (Ruthann), Lisa Fry (Kenny), Keith Francis (Anita), Margaret Francis (Williams) and Laura Francis; and his brothers, Joseph Francis (Mary), John Francis (Margaret) and Frank Francis (Madeline). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
