He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvan Kline and Beatrice Kline (Luli); his brother William Kline; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Kline and Dale Turner.

He is survived by: his wife Dorcas Ann Kline; his daughters, Patricia A. Wilson (David) of Rootstown and Susanna Jones of Akron; his granddaughters, Sarah Wilson of Castletown, NY and Jessica Wilson of Rootstown; and his sister Thelma Turner of Mantua.
