He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Pospichel and Phyllis Pospichel (Hall); his sisters, Connie and Phyllis; and his mother-in-law Betty King.

He is survived by: his wife Jennifer A. Pospichel (King); his children, Greg Pospichel (Valerie), Kevin Pospichel (Julie) and Kara Smith (Tom); his grandchildren, Amelia, Eliana Pospichel, Jack and Blake Smith; his sisters, Bonnie Rude (John) and Barbara Pospichel; and his friends, Nancy and Gary Christman. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
