He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Winifred; his former wife Kathleen Vaughn; his siblings, Alfred and Ruth; and his son-in-law Kevin McGraw.
He is survived by: his wife Joanie; his children, John, Jr. (Geraldine), Marjorie Korsgaard (Corey) and Mary McGraw; and his granddaughters, Nichole and Brooke. He is also survived by three nephews.
