It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Currey of Rootstown, Ohio, born in Shinnston, West Virginia, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell D. Currey and Martha Genevieve Currey (Hardesty); and his brother Richard Currey. He is survived by: his wife Janice Currey (McDougal); his children, Amy Goins and Michael Currey; his grandchildren, Tyler, Meghan, Mitchell, Marty, Taylor, Hailey, Kash and Karter; and his siblings, Robert Currey (Betty) and Nancy Fortney.
