Leslie Holzmann lit a candle

“I met Jim in 1965 at USMC Sea School. We were assigned to the USS America CVA66, spent the remainder of our 3 years on the ship, and were discharged together in 1968. Close quarter living, 24/7 - duty, training, and liberty together – bonding for a lifetime. We met again at reunions, and it was like we last saw each other maybe a month ago. Given Jim’s wonderful memory and wit, we shared “sea stories” each time we got together. Those memories will always be cherished. Semper Fi!, Jim. RIP”
