We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2020, at the age of 100, Leonora Simmons of Rogers, Ohio, born in Norristown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Pickell and Leonora Pickell (Stefanson); her husband Curtis Michael Simmons, Sr.; her son Curtis Michael "Mike" Simmons, Jr.; and her siblings, Elsie Nichols, Cleda Robinson, Doris Williams, Jake Pickell, Herbert Pickell, Leland Pickell, Bert Pickell, Donald Pickell and Elwood Pickell.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jane Thompson (Robert) of Rogers, OH, Florence Hendrickson (Rick) of Sanatoga, PA and Harvery Frederick "Freddie" Simmons (Patricia) of Norristown, PA; and her grandchildren, Kim Smondrowski (Mark) of Norristown, PA, Tabitha Prestler (Patrick) of Concord, CA, Curtis Michael "Mickey" Simmons III (Cyndi) of Douglasville, PA, Amy Simmons of Sellersville, PA, Sean Simmons (Chrisy) of Philadelphia, PA and Steven Ronca of Sanatoga, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Leonora may be directed to Negley Volunteer Fire Department, 50683 Richardson Avenue, Negley, OH 44441.
