He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wylie and Genevieve Allison Wylie; his daughter Sue Ellen Pearson; his brother Richard Wylie; and his grandson James Robert Schultz.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Kay Raley Wylie; his children, Robert Lee Wylie of Salem, Rick Allen Wylie of Rogers and April Lynn Schultz (Rod) of New Waterford; his brother Neil Wylie (Janice) of Columbiana; and his grandchildren, Brandon Wylie (Gia), Amber Lewis (Jake), Isabella Collins, Lyle Pearson (Jessie) and Latisha Wylie. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
