It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Matheny of Rogers, Ohio, born in East Liverpool, Ohio, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Red" and Inez Moffett (Mays); her husband Kenneth R. Matheny; her siblings, Myrtle Jones, Cynthia Moffett, James Moffett (Sandra) and Roy Moffett (Gloria); and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Moffett, Larry Jones and Becky Capper (Kenny).
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary-Margaret Matheny (Ralph Slager) of Rogers and Joann Matheny (Jimmy Shreve) of Lisbon; her sister Candace Clevenger (Terry) of Negley; and her siblings-in-law, Judith A. Palm (Mike) of Lisbon, Arthur Matheny of Lisbon and Harry R. Matheny, Jr. of Salem. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
