We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2021, at the age of 87, Doy Thompson in Rogers, Ohio, born in Craigsville, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Bessie Peyatt Thompson; and his siblings, Ellen Davis, Opal Ellison, Elizabeth Sperry, Robert Thompson, Carlos Thompson, Paul Thompson, Leeodis Thompson and Reda Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Marlatt Thompson; his children, Jesse Thompson (Barb) of Negley, Harold Dexter of East Palestine, Doy, Jr. Thompson (Sally) of East Palestine and Barbara E. Post of East Palestine; and his sister Wanda Hedger of East Palestine. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, and concerns for their extended family and friends, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date, when they can all gather safely.
