She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hadden and Ada Hadden; and her brothers, Patrick and Larry Hadden. She is survived by: her husband John Barnes; her children, Kimberly Kalmar (Bill) of Grosse Pointe, Melany Malquest (Peter) of Rocky River, Kevin Barnes (Christina Schneider) of Athens, Georgia and David Barnes (Misty Dennis) of Athens; her grandchildren, Joe Kalmar, Alex Kalmar, Katie Malquest, Caroline Kalmar, Alabee Barnes, Tom Malquest and Owen Barnes; and her sisters, Jean Shulman (Steve) and Nancy Ciresi (John).
Due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 virus, the family will hold a private service with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
