He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Kaye; his parents, Thomas Charles Murphy and Mary H. Kilbane Murphy; and his sister Kathleen Jacobs (Jay). He is survived by: his wife Marie Murphy (Gallina); his children, Ann Marie Hurley (Leo), Matthew, Mary Beth Murphy and Maureen Shimko (Rick); his grandchildren, Leo and Nora Hurley; and his siblings, Thomas (Kathleen), James, Mary Ann Murphy, Rosemary Rehker (Doug), Noreen Cummins and Margaret Mary Murphy.
