He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivana Rebec and Franc Rebec; and his brother-in-law Robert "Hoss" Ostrunic (Susan). He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Turchik; his stepchildren, Linda Gerstenberger (John) and Steven Turchik (Shannon); his stepgrandchildren, Jolie, Nathan, Benjamin and Michael; his sibling Miro Rebec; his siblings-in-law, Lynn Durand (Chuck) and Cynthia Ostrunic; and his nieces, Katie Chambers and Maryann Destro.
