She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold J. Wendel and Laurena Wendel (Bollenbacher); her brother John Wendel; her stepbrother John Murphy; and her siblings, Paul Wendel and Dolly Wendel.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Green (Robert) of Rockford, Barb Steiner of Rockford, Linda Reed of Rockford, Wanda Ross (Dan) of Willshire and Deb Kohne (Patrick) of Berne, IN; and her sister Madonna Johnson of Fort Wayne, IN.
