He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hays and Z. Fae Hays (Kirkpatrick); and his sister Karen S. Hays. He is survived by: his wife Linda Reedy; his children, Douglas Hays (Rebecca) of Rockford, Donna Adams (Jeff) of Rushville, Denise Lochtefeld (Greg) of Knoxville, Darlene Hays of Greenville, Diane Hays of Celina and Danielle Hays of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his sister Connie Hays of Columbus Grove, Ohio; and his granddaughters, Brittney, Sarah, Victoria, Rhyan and Gabby. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Donald's memory may be sent to Mercer County Cancer Society or to the Mercer County Council on Aging.
