He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dwight Laffin and Minnie Laffin (Brehm); his wife Gloria Laffin (Fickert); his daughters, Dawn Marvel (Doug) of Indianapolis and Diana Hynde (Gene) of Muskegon; his grandchildren, Ashley Miller (Ethan), Toby Marvel (Laura Fawzi), Blaine Hynde and Kennedy Hynde; his great grandchild Maddox Miller; his siblings, Jannis Osterloh (Dan), Cinda Cook (Bob), Trude Laffin of Celina and Wayne Fickert (Sally) of Rockford; his sister-in-law Pamela Laffin of Celina; and his brother Darryl "Doc" Laffin.
