She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Emerson and Dorothy Emerson (Dawson); her husband Larry Houser; her sister Mary Lou Lehman; and her half-brothers, Mike and Jim Emerson.
She is survived by: her children, Melisa Richmond, Celina, Michael Houser (Shelly), Matthew Houser and Columbus; and her sisters, Gloria Vann (Fred) of Rockford, Helen Baker (Stanley) of Rockford and Suzanne Christie (Arthur) of Rockford. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five step grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
