She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph V. Russell and Marjorie R. Smith Russell; her children, Richard Blount and Tracy Renee Harkness; and her brother Thomas J. Russell.
She is survived by: her son Michael Blount (Shannon) of Rockbridge; her grandchildren, Michael Tyler Blount (Felisha), Christian Shane Blount, Eli Christopher Blount and Megan Harkness; her siblings, Joseph V. Russell, Stephen D. Russell, Daniel J. Russell, Carol Hucklebridge, Christina Marczika and Tamara J. Russell; and her friend John Hill (Richard Paul Blount) of Rockbridge.
