He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Shaw and Ruth Shaw (Ruble); his siblings, Paul David Shaw, Phyllis Kessler and Katherine "Kitty" Flowers; and his brothers-in-law, Quentin Butterfield and Phillip Woolpert.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Shaw (Butterfield); his children, Lori Lee Kidder (Paul) of Lancaster, Ohio, Kimberly Sue Rutter (Douglas) of Lancaster, Ohio, Amy Lynn McCafferty of Lancaster, Ohio and Paul Thomas Lambert of San Diego, CA; his sister Eleanor Rhymer (Paul) of Amanda, Ohio; and his sister-in-law Donna Butterfield of Circleville, Ohio. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
