He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Stai (Richard), Cindy Young (Doug), Charles "Jeff" Smyers and Lorie Blade; his sons-in-law, Lee Tipple and Brant Blade; his sister Dorothy Meadows; and his former wife Sylvia Meade (Deborah Miller). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
