He was predeceased by: his parents, Cathryn Bachman (Evans) and Sylvester L. Bachman; his siblings, Darrell Bachman, Byron Bachman, Richard Bachman, Sylvia Fry and Regina Brown; and his brothers-in-law, John Shankland and Don Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Elaine Maibach; his son Scott Bachman (Ruth); his grandsons, Gregory Bachman (Natalie), Daniel Bachman, Mark Bachman and Benjamin Bachman; his great grandchild David "Davy" Bachman; his sister Colleen Shankland; and his brother-in-law David Fry.
