He was predeceased by: his parents, George Triantafyllou and Eleni Mastorokostopoulos; and his siblings, Gus Triantafyllou and Fotini Triantafyllou. He is survived by: his daughters, Helen Triantafyllou-Rahimzadeh and Georgia S Triantafyllou; his grandchildren, Vasiliki (Vaso), Rahimzadeh Houston (Dalton George) and Stephanos Rahimzadeh DC of Washington; his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Rogers, Stephanie Altidis, Demetra Lewis and Jim Koutrodimos; his godson Steven Rohrer; his wife Vasiliki Koutrodimos; his former wife Koula Panos of Cleveland; his children, Pete and Nitsa Panos; and also Farzan Rahimzadeh.
