He was predeceased by: his parents, Edson Kurtz and Olive Jaques (Kurtz). He is survived by: his wife Sue Adkins; his sons, Robert J. Kurtz (Terri) of Lakeville and Bradley R. Kurtz (Whitney J.) of Wooster; his stepdaughter Sharon Straub (Daniel) of Rittman; his siblings, Rita Franks (Myron) of Orrville, Rhonda Bowling (John) of Wooster and Ron; and his friends, Ronald Schaefer of North Lawrence and John "JJ" Johnson of Wooster. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter.
