He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvan Keener and Melissa Keener (Triplett); his brothers, Dana Keener and Ralph Keener; and his sister-in-law Wavolene Keener.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Pearl Griffith; his brothers, Carl Keener (Lenora) of Front Royal, VA and Gary Keener of Flatwoods, WV; his sisters-in-law, Jackie Keener of Stow and Betty Keener of Strange Creek, WV; and also, Ralph Griffith of Sterling, Ann Reed (Calvin) of Quaker City, Janice Reed (Melvin) of Quaker City and Sheila Pauli (Ed) of Akron. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
