She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Rufener and Elizabeth Rufener (Henderlong); her brother Homer Rufener, Jr.; and her grandson Shaun Hopton. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Hopton; her children, Joanna Shankland (Mickey) of Rittman, Duane Hopton of Rittman, Nancy Booth (Dale) of Medina, Mike Hopton (Vicki) of Sandusky and Bill Hopton of Cuyahoga Falls; and her sister-in-law Nancy Rufener of Sardis, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rittman United Methodist Church, 211 N. Metzger Ave., Rittman, OH 44270.
