He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his son Gary "Butch" Geitgey Jr.; and his siblings, Marilyn Davis and George "Cork". He is survived by: his children, Kimber Geitgey of Rittman and Richard Geitgey of West Salem; his grandchildren, Bambi Bowser (Mike) and Jade Fisher (James); his great grandchildren, Brian, Isabelle, Monica and Vincent; and his siblings, Warren (Emma Jean), Jim (Oma Jean), Sandra Killough (Delbert), Stanley Zane (Nancy) and Keith (Martha). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
