She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Blackburn and Lela Blackburn (Hurt); her daughter Susan Kaye; her parents-in-law, Karl L. Gillman and Bessie M. Gillman; her son-in-law Steve Gates; and her brother-in-law Robert L. Gillman.
She is survived by: her husband Dick; her daughters, Joan Gates and Jennifer Patterson (Mike); her grandchildren, Jonathan Patterson (Ashley), Chelsea Patterson and Heather Rusher (Chris); her great grandchildren, Ben Patterson and Cayden Rusher; her siblings, Michael Blackburn (Jane) and Elaine Groom (Chris); and her sisters-in-law, Jayne Rupe (Rob) and Alice Gillman.
