He is survived by: his sons, J. Russell and David; his wife Mary; his grandson Jakob; his nephew Herman Ellis, Jr. of Chico, CA; and his sisters-in-law, Lilly Ellis of Johnstown, PA and Ora Baines of Fairlawn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
