She was predeceased by: her parents, Denny Wilburn and Velvet I. Wilburn (Sparks); her husband Dorsel C. Hurley; her siblings, Mildred Fagley and Mitchell Wilburn; and her grandson Dustin J. Hurley.
She is survived by: her children, Ruby Barrnett (Bob), Dolly Mosley (PeeWee), Dorsel Hurley (Tammy), Alvin Hurley (Lisa), James Hurley (Mercedes), Zenus Hurley and Bonnie Green (Matt); and her sister Barbara Smith (Mark). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
