He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine A. Lawrence; his parents, Floyd and Mable; and his siblings, Wayne Knisely, Katheryn Lee and Josephine Forbes.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Knisely (Pam) of Wayne, David Knisely (Terri) of Risingsun, James Knisely (Christyne) of Green Springs and Michael Knisely (Julie) of Vandalia; and his sister-in-law Jane Knisely of Wayne. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wayne United Methodist Church.
