He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Salisbury and Lyda Salisbury (Skeene); his granddaughter Kalynn Salisbury; his daughter-in-law Lora Salisbury; his brother-in-law David Edwards; and his pet Bennie.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Salisbury of Risingsun; his children, Brad Salisbury of Findlay, Kevin Salisbury (Michelle) of Fostoria and Susan Hinkle (David) of Fostoria; his sister Carolyn Edwards; his grandchildren, Lauren, Jeffery, Emily Salisbury, Aaron and Alexis Hinkle; and his great grandchildren, Milo, Maya and Marlo.
