He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Koewler and Anna M. Pfeffer Koewler; and his siblings, Albert Anthony (Jean), Ruth Louise Schiffer (Robert), Charles Robert, John Raymond (Rosella), Margaret Anne and Mary Edith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
