He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Odell and Lois Marie Shinkle (Kellum); and his sister Paula Huff. He is survived by: his girlfriend Sharon Cahall (Smith) of Ripley, Ohio; his son Stephan Shinkle of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his siblings, Tom Kirk (Vicky) of Ross, Chuck Kirk (Linda) of Maysville, Nina Metz (Andy) of Batavia and Ron Shinkle (Toni) of Batavia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
