He was predeceased by: his parent Henry Lightner; his wife Nettie Frances Lightner; his daughter Pamela Lynn Lightner; his sons-in-law, Daniel Duzan and Thomas Garrett; and his sisters, Deloris Paul of Aberdeen, Wanda Perraut of Aberdeen and Eva Lanter of Mt. Orab, Ohio.
He is survived by: his parent Pearl Lightner (Vaughn); his daughters, Bonnie Duzan and Connie Garrett; and his grandchildren, Daniel Duzan (Kimberly) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Michael Duzan (Maria) of Dyersburg, Chad Duzan (Tara) of Sardinia, Anita Farrow (Mark) of Dry Ridge, Cebrina Whitcomb (Mark) of Lexington and Anthony Garrett (Maryah) of Ripley, Ohio. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren.
