He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Otis and Mildred Birchfield (Arnett); his sister Jenny Birchfield; his spouse Kathy Birchfield; his sons, Micah Alan Birchfield (Monica) of Hillsboro, Justin Samuel Birchfield of Ripley and Michael Dean Helbling (Chassity) of Ripley, Ohio; and his brother Barry Birchfield of Phoenix. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
