She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Howell (Craycraft) and Harlan Howell; and her husband Shirley Lee Gifford. She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Cox of The Villages, Florida and Ben Hawkins of Franklin Furnace, Ohio; and her brother-in-law Bud DeVore of Ripley, Ohio. She is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.
