He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ashbrook and Bertha Ashbrook (Daulton); his wife Mary Alene; his daughter Mary Elizabeth Davidson; his sons-in-law, Clarence Davidson and Allen Smith; and his siblings, Dewayne, James, Norman Ashbrook, Jean Rogers and Ann Henderson.
He is survived by: his children, James Ashbrook (Kendra), Linda Beckelhimer (Galen), Della Smith, Ellen Gentry (Dwight), Anna Peters (Jeff), Gwen Leonard (Charlie), Melissa Yazell (Steve) and Rebecca Werling (Dan); his siblings, John Ashbrook (Vivian) and Wanda Ashbrook; and his sister-in-law Jewell Hogan (Dave). He is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
