She was predeceased by: her parents, Polly Dotson (McCoy) and John Dotson; her husband Murphy McLain; her daughter Linda Lee Thomas (Myers); and her siblings, Ralph, Donald Dotson, Ruth Arvay (Dotson) and Verle Phares (Charles Crisp).

She is survived by: her daughter Donna Jill Price (Dann) of Ripley; and her grandchildren, Tracy Hackler (Randy) of Madison, Alabama, Amanda Yates (Steve) of North Port, Florida, Sterling Payne (Michael) of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, Brandyn Affolder (Jason) of Fort Lewis and Blake Price (Stacy) of Ripley, Ohio.. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
