He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Maines and Elizabeth Maines (Martin); his brothers, Thurlis, Walter, Delbert and Robert Maines; and his great grandchild Thomas Maines Jr..
He is survived by: his former wife Brenda Brewer Maines of Ripley; his children, Bonnie Maines, Heidi Maines of Ripley, James Maines of Ripley, Thomas Maines of Ripley, Daniel Maines of Ripley and Joseph Maines (Nicole) of Fayetteville; and his siblings, Raymond Maines and Wanda Morgan of Trenton, OH. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
