It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Joyce Buffett of Ripley, Ohio, who passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Chowning and Gypsy Chowning; her husband James Lowell Buffett; and her children, Brenda J. Moore and James L. Buffett, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Melody Starrett (William) of Ripley and Robert F. Buffett (Denise) of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
