He was predeceased by: his grandmother Hazel Sowers; his uncle Dyke Sowers; his mother Mary Higle; his stepfather Pete Higle; and his half-brother Charlie Higle.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Sowers (Pollitt); his children, Gary Ray Sowers (Tiffany) of Georgetown and Amanda Nicole Sowers of Ripley, Ohio; his granddaughter Kaylee Ray Sowers; his half-brothers, Monty Ray Higle of Hamersville, Ohio and Robert Higle of Hamersville, Ohio; his aunt Daisy Sowers of Hamersville, Ohio; and his parents-in-law, Bob and Mary Pollitt of Hamersville, Ohio..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cahall Funeral Home - Georgetown (204 W State St, Georgetown, OH 45121). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
